The University of California Davis Graduate Programs of Study are post-graduate programs offered by the University of California Davis. The division consists of over 90 programs, offering masters and doctoral degrees and post-doctoral courses. The programs educate over 4,000 students from around the world. ==History== The University of California graduate division has a long history, particularly at the Berkeley, Davis, and San Francisco campuses. Graduate education has been a major feature of the academic focus for over 80 years. This academic tradition began in the fall of 1925, when 12 students received graduate degrees from the College of Agriculture through a partnership with the graduate division of the University California at Berkeley. Over the years, the programs continued to grow, interact and collaborate. The first graduate degrees were awarded from the UC Davis campus in June 1949. In 1961, autonomous Graduate Divisions and Graduate Councils were established on all University of California campuses to provide focused oversight of their graduate programs.〔
